| Types of MembershipMembership has finally come to Club Kensington and it does carry some benefits. We will still consider anyone who claims us as their home course to be a member but will now have several classes of membership. They are as follows: 1. The person who believes in "the idea being that once you believe you are part of Club Kensington, then you are." This "member by declaration" is a person who enjoys all of the benefits of membership except that of having an official number in the organization, a newsletter mailed to their residence, or a vote in the functioning of the club. 2. The person who is current in dues payment. This "member in good standing" is a person who enjoys all of the benefits of membership as described in the "Ratified Constitution" of Club Kensington. 3. The person who did pay dues in the past but is not current. This "non-current member" enjoys all of the benefits of "member by declaration" plus has a permanent member number that was issued the first year they were a member. 4. A person or business can become a "Corporate member". Corporate Membership will be granted to any business-entity that contributes $250 or more as a sponsorship to any CKDGC Event. 5. The final class of membership is an "Honorary Membership". This person or organization has been specially honored and recognized by Club Kensington for their connection with our club and their membership will never expire or have to be renewed. Membership is handled by the Club Kensington Vice-President.
